Plans and misses.
13.10.09 by miroWe’ve been rehearsing a lot lately and we have piles of new tracks coming on. We’re doing everything we can to put out that first cdr on the day of our first club gig on 14.11.
Contents of that cdr will be the first 6 tracks that you can download from here and 7 new ones. Overall of 13 originals packed in homebrew stickered cardboard cover and clear, label-less cdr. Cover art and stuff will be available as soon as we come to terms of what it should look like. (Read: we’re going to sit down, drink and make decisions).
When new tracks are ready i’ll be posting some of them to myspace, and probably post them here for download also. Hope it’s worth of all our work and waiting.
We need gigs. Book us.

29.08.09 by miroAfter battling with html/php/css for almost 24 hours, i’m, and also on behalf of the rest of the band, happy to announce, that http://thelenients.net is finally up and running. So welcome.
There’s not much really new content here yet. Just downloadable version of our first six tracks, photos by Aleksi Salo from Onnenpyörä ’09 (new ones), current giglist, small introduction to the guys and wholesome bio. Photos and music are on “media” -page and bio on “band” -page. Giglist you can prolly find on your own…

I’m planning on setting a flyer/poster archive here also, but i guess that it’s not an issue of today. You got that right. Since we only have one poster on the web and that gig is more than two months away… I promise to come up with poster archive when there’s more than two posters around.
Anyway. Obviously you found your way here, cause it seems that you’re reading this.. If you have photos of us, be it from either one of our gigs, please send us a copies. We can upload them here or on our pages on FB or MS. Our mail is thelenients at gmail dot com.
If you’re planning on organizing a gig and want us to play there, the address is the same. We’ll be glad to play anywhere, but sleeping places (beer) and some gasmoney are always welcome.
Also.. One more notable thing.. Personally i’m going to be posting all updates here first and afterwards (if i’m interested or not too tired) update myspace and facebook pages. So this site is the most reliable source for any information about The Lenients.
