Sad news and last thank yous. For now.

I’m not very pleased to tell you this, but after all, we have quit. Our last gigs were about a year ago, and although i personally wrote six or seven new songs, we never got to do them due to other stuff going on in our lives. I even recorded homespun acoustic versions of those. Sorry, I’m not going to release them.. Jussi and myself were already working on another band, Lunar Outpost, and when few unrelated things failed, Antti joined our ranks after Essi, the founding member of Lunar Outpost, had to leave the band. So, as of right now, there seems to be no chance of us playing as The Lenients again. I can’t never say never, we could possibly do something sometime in some future, but i can’t promise you anything.

We had a blast along the way meeting new people and seeing old friends too. We’ll keep this webpage open and that CDr available if someone is still interested. We would like to thank everyone who helped us in any way during our short existence. Especially Niko and Paavo.  Thanks to everyone who listened to our shit, enjoyed a show, talked philosophical shit with us or drank a beer with us. Thank you for everything. Tides change and so does life.

Lunar Outpost is about to release their second full length album soon – relative to time of when i’m writing this, of course – so all three of us are still doing punkrock together. It’s just a different band and we have very talented young woman with us, playing organ and synths. Hope to see you when we tour with them. Once more. Thank you all for everything.
